What's up, guys (that's me trying to be cool. I never said it was working)! Kat here! First of all, Merry Christmas! I absoluetely love December; nearly three weeks of break from school! Woohoo! Now, for the main point of the post. I'll be honest, for a while, I've had my own personal Pinterest account. I mainly use it to save cool things I see related to food (and fandom stuff...but that's irrelevant), Anyway, I also get lots of recipe ideas that I want to cook and then post on the blog...but I don't have time to get the ingredients (I have a fair amount of free time on most Saturdays, but I can't drive myself to the grocery store, unfortunately). Alright, enough tangents. I made a Pinterest account for Omelets and Apple Juice! See it here. Now, I know this isn't relevant to the post, but I thought it was just SO AWESOME! I was at this awesome local coffee shop called Buckhead, and I absolutely love their hot chocolate. When I stopped in to get some for the first time this winter, I saw something new: PEPPERMINT MARSHMALLOWS!!! I know, right? DON'T THEY LOOK AMAZING?! Maybe they exist on every grocery store shelf somewhere else, but I had never seen anything like this before. I stuck one in my hot chocolate, and it was great! Who needs expensive, Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate when you can stick one of these in your Swiss Miss (or homemade hot choclate if you're not feeling lazy, like I normally do). I plan to go back and buy some more, although I probably shouldn't...
Thanks for listening to this long announcement, and I'm sorry Hil and I have only been posting once a month...I'm going to try my best to work on that! I'm not sure if this is techinaically a good thing or a bad thing, but I always cook (mainly bake) a lot more over the holidays, so keep your eyes peeled for some more cookies! A new post should be out tomorrow, and possibly even more posts are in the near future! Have a great holiday season, everyone!
