Kat here, and here is a new recipe for a great, filling salad. One night, I had a bacon cheeseburger that my dad made (special occasion; my cousins are visiting). Then, I had avocado and tomato slices to top it off, and it was delish! Therefore, I wanted a way to enjoy these flavors without the fattening burger patty and huge bun. That was when I had the idea for this salad. I'm not going to lie, the bacon isn't exactly the healthiest part of this salad. But if you want to subtract some fat, you can use turkey bacon, or just have no bacon at all. But personally, I need my bacon fix. Regardless of how you modify it, this salad is great for lunch with a tall glass of iced tea to cool yourself off during these roasting August days. (Hil here! For me, it is a nice cup of hot mint tea with a little bit of honey! But do whatever you want!) Tomato Bacon and Avocado Salad Serves:1 Ingredients
